This Friday, February 26, is Liberace Day. No, I meant Liberation Day. It's the anniverary of the end of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. As far as I know, it's the only non-religious holiday in the country.
This is really short notic,e but does anybody out there know if there will be any public celebrations that day? Any place a foreigner can go to help the local celebrate their independence?
Well if you dont mind you and your vehicle being sprayed by foam, all you have to do is just hop into your car, go on the gulf road at around 8 pm, make sure to bring your flags with you (Kuwait, American, and British)and just start honking your horn and stiking your head out of the window like a crazy person, you will be helping us celebrate our Liberation day. Enjoy :)
